Happiness Is a Higher Frequency: Connecting with Something Bigger This Easter

Today isn’t just about baskets or bunnies— it’s about rebirth, renewal, and a chance to connect with something greater than ourselves. Whether or not you celebrate Easter in the traditional sense, there’s a quiet power in taking a moment to reflect, to feel gratitude, and to open yourself to the energy that flows through everything.

I don’t use the word “God” to describe the higher power I believe in, but I know that I’m guided. I know I’m supported. I feel it in the moments of synchronicity, in the quiet clarity after meditation, and in the unexpected peace that rushes in when I stop resisting and just trust. You can call it Source Energy, the Universe, Spirit, Energy— whatever name brings you closer. The truth is, there is something bigger than us. And the more we tune into that frequency, the more we remember who we really are.

Jen Sincero writes in You Are a Badass, “When we connect to source energy and tune into our purpose by following our instincts, our hearts, and our joy, we live right on the money.” That’s the kind of happiness I’m talking about— the deep authentic joy that comes from not achieving or performing, but from simply being aligned. It’s not about perfection. It’s about presence.

That’s why connecting with your higher self is essential—not optional— if you want to experience true happiness. Not fleeting happiness, not the kind that depends on a job, a relationship, or how much is in your bank account. I’m talking about that grounded, glowing, I know who I am and I know why I’m here kind of happiness.

Maslow placed self-actualization at the top of the pyramid for a reason. But we can’t reach it by chasing only the physical or the mental. To fully actualize—to feel fulfilled— we must connect to something beyond ourselves. We must recognize that we’re not the center of the universe, but part of a beautifully orchestrated web of energy, love, and potential.

Today, I just want to say thank you to the Source Energy that keeps nudging me towards growth. To the energy that reminds me I’m never alone, even when it feels like it. To the higher self within me that always knows the way home.

If you’re reading this, I hope you feel it too. That subtle pull towards peace. The whisper that says: You’re more powerful than you realize, and you’re being guided— always.

Happy Easter, in whatever way you celebrate. May today be a soft reminder to slow down, tune in, and rise a little closer to your truest self.

Love,

Rainey
